St. Marys River at Rockford.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...St. Marys River at Rockford.
* WHEN...Until Monday morning.
* IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, State Route 117 near Route 118 north of Rockford is water-covered and closed.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 4:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 12.9 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this evening. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.
* WHERE...Portions of Indiana, including the following counties, Dearborn, Fayette, Franklin, Ripley, Union and Wayne and Ohio, including the following counties, Adams, Auglaize, Brown, Butler, Champaign, Clark, Clermont, Clinton, Darke, Delaware, Fairfield, Fayette, Franklin, Greene, Hamilton, Hardin, Highland, Hocking, Licking, Logan, Madison, Mercer, Miami, Montgomery, Pickaway, Pike, Preble, Ross, Scioto, Shelby, Union and Warren.
* WHEN...From 7 PM EDT this evening through Monday morning.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Showers and thunderstorms producing heavy rain will impact the area overnight. Rainfall totals of 1 to 3 inches are expected with locally higher amounts. The heavy rain combined with saturated ground will lead to potential flash flooding.

Thelma Barber

Thelma J. Gross Barber, 83, St. Henry, died Oct. 3, 2013, at Mercer County Community Hospital, Coldwater.

She was born April 18, 1930, in St. Rose, to Julius and Philomena Fiely Griesdorn.

She married William Gross in 1959, and he preceded her in death. She then married Harry Barber, who died in 2002.

Surviving are three sons, Ronald (Bernie) Gross, St. Henry, James (Mary) Gross, Coldwater, and Daniel (Lisa) Gross, St. Rose; three grandchildren, Bill Gross, Mindy (Jeremy) Gentry and Mackenzie Gross; a great-grandchild, Morgan Gentry; a stepgreat-grandchild, Luke Gentry; two brothers, Luke Griesdorn, Osgood, and Mark Griesdorn, Cassella; and in-laws, Marguerite Griesdorn, St. Rose, Mildred Griesdorn, Coldwater, Mary Post, St. Peter, Ruth Johnsman, Celina, Eileen Gross, Arizona, and Beatrice and Louis Borger, St. Marys.

She was also preceded in death by a granddaughter, Alison Gross; two brothers, Clete Griesdorn and Ralph Griesdorn; and in-laws, Katherine Griesdorn, Margie Griesdorn, Tony Post, Gregory and Monica Gross, Fr. Raphael Gross, Sister Victorine Gross, Leroy Johnsman and Richard Gross.

She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Philothea, and its Ladies Sodality, and the Coldwater V.F.W. Auxiliary.

Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Mary Catholic Church, Philothea. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery, Philothea.

Calling is 1-6 p.m. Sunday and 9-10 a.m. Monday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Coldwater.
