* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Harold Davis
Harold O. Davis, 75, Benzonia, Mich., and formerly of Shepherd, Mich., and Mendon, passed away suddenly Aug. 9, 2013, at Munson Hospital in Traverse City, Mich.
He was born July 20, 1938, in Mercer County, to Forest H. and Bessie Raymond Davis. He married Mary Mollema in April 1960 in Mendon, and she preceded him in death. He is survived by his companion, Katie Merrill.
He also is survived by his children, Denise (Bob Gantz) Davis of Ithaca, Mich., and Hank (Phyllis) Davis of Newaygo, Mich.; grandchildren, Olivia, Hannah, Austin, Trevor, Jesse and Garret; great-grandchildren, Bryanna and Haylee; Merrill's children, Lindsey and Michael; and two sisters, JoAnn (Roger) Freeman and Marlene (Carl) Marsee.
He was preceded in death by his son, Olin P. Davis, and a sister, Renda Shellito.
He owned and operated Davis Tile Drainage, serving farmers in the Central Michigan area for many years, and formerly worked for Speicher Corp. in Celina.
He had a love and passion for fishing, hunting and trapping, which has been passed on to his children and grandchildren.
Funeral services were Aug. 13, 2013, at Berry Funeral Home in Shepherd, Mich., with Jean Thrush officiating. Interment will be in Salt River Cemetery.
