Fishing Derby in New Bremen

Eager youngsters line the water's edge at New Bremen's Bunker Hill Industrial Park pond Tuesday night during the annual fishing derby sponsored by the New Bremen Parks Department. More than 110 youth registered to participate and win door prizes. Brandy Heckman landed the first fish and earned a special prize. Organizers said they were pleased with the event, which drew 255 people.
