* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Ruth Platfoot
Ruth D. Platfoot, 72, Coldwater, passed away July 17, 2013, at her home.
She was born Oct. 30, 1940, in New Weston to William and Alvina Lefeld Stammen. On Nov. 26, 1960, she married Robert Platfoot in Burkettsville, who died in 1999.
Surviving are seven children, Kathryn (John) Wespiser of Cincinnati, Daniel Platfoot of St. Sebastian, Kenneth (Karen) Platfoot of Coldwater, Charles (Karen) Platfoot of Versailles, Allen (Billie) Platfoot of Versailles, Jeffrey (Carol) Platfoot of New Weston and Robert Platfoot of St. Henry; 26 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Lavern (Jean) Stammen of Coldwater, Della Mae Luebke of Coldwater, Irene (Dave) Schoenlein of Coldwater, George (April) Stammen of Fort Recovery, John (Linda) Stammen of Coldwater and Rosella (Jim) Cronin of Maine; and a brother-in-law, Jim Barga of Michigan.
Deceased are sisters, Bernice Barga and Mary Ann Esser; and brothers-in-law, Adam Esser and Paul Luebke.
She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Coldwater, a Mercer Health Hospital Volunteer, and worked at Cooper's. Ruth was a friend and mother to all.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Monday at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Coldwater. Burial will follow at St. Valbert Cemetery in Versailles, with a funeral lunch afterward at the K of C Hall in Versailles.
Calling is 1-7 p.m. Sunday and 9-10 a.m. Monday at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home in Coldwater.
Memorials may be made to State of the Heart Hospice.
