* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Showers and thunderstorms producing heavy rain will impact the area overnight. Rainfall totals of 1 to 3 inches are expected with locally higher amounts. The heavy rain combined with saturated ground will lead to potential flash flooding.

* IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, State Route 117 near Route 118 north of Rockford is water-covered and closed.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

William Schaadt
William M. "Bill" Schaadt, 72, Chattanooga, passed away from cancer June 1, 2013, at his home.
He was born Aug. 15, 1940, in Mercer County, to Victor and Luella Affolder Schaadt. He married Judy Ousley on Sept. 23, 1964, in Berne, Ind., and she is deceased. He later married LaDonna McCullough Case on April 23, 1977, who survives.
Other survivors include his daughter, Tracy (David) O'Dell of Columbus, Ind.; a step-son, Eric (Sunni) Case of Eaton, Ind.; brothers, Ralph (Ginny) Schaadt of Bluffton, John (Cathy) Schaadt of Decatur; six grandchildren; and numerous nephews and nieces.
Also preceding him in death are his in-laws, James and Ella McCullough.
He retired from International Harvester in 2000, and worked for Berne Furniture an additional seven years. He also served in the National Guard, and enjoyed farming throughout his life. He was baptized in the Bethel Brethren Church in Berne and attended The Bridge Church in Decatur, Ind. He enjoyed woodworking, and collecting "Case" and "Purina" pocket knives.
Graveside services for family and friends are 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the MRE Cemetery in Berne, the Rev. Mo Hodge officiating.
