* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

James Wasson
James Edward "Jim" Wasson, 73, Celina, passed away at his residence on May 17, 2013.
He was born to John and Josephine Ann Brandt Wasson.
He is survived by his longtime friends, Art and Janet Bernard of St. Henry.
He had three brothers, Joseph Alexander Wasson, Robert Garcer Wasson and Jerome Wasson, and a sister, Kathy Neff.
He had been a radio announcer at WERT and WCSM. He was perhaps most widely known for portraying Santa Claus for 50 years in the Celina and St. Marys areas. He was also known as a show promoter, organizing events such as the Celina Easter Egg Hunt, variety shows and the Children's Christmas Show at the Celina movie theater.
For many years, he served as an umpire at youth softball games in Celina.
He was a veteran, and a member of the Catholic faith. He loved animals, wild and domestic, and always looked out for them. He had a true "heart of gold," and would help anyone he could.
Services are 3 p.m. Friday at W.H. Dick & Sons - Hellwarth Funeral Home in Celina, with military rites following.
Calling is 1-3 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
