Ruth Wellman
Ruth Marie Wellman, 88, Celina, passed away at 5:07 a.m. May 9, 2013, at Celina Manor Nursing Home.
She was born April 6, 1925, in Sharpsburg, to Ignatius and Sarah White Esser. On April 11, 1945, she married Alfred Wellman, who died March 15, 1991.
Surviving are a daughter, Ruthann Brunswick, Celina; a sister, Agnes Luthman, Botkins; a sister-in-law, Rosie Bey Esser; three grandchildren, Gregg (Michele) Brunswick, Marysville, Sara (Gabe) Yoder, Lewis Center, and Lisa Brunswick, Celina; five great-grandchildren, Logan and Zaverri Brunswick, Kennedy Yoder, and Brittany and Taylor Brunswick; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Also deceased are a son-in-law, Bernard Brunswick; a granddaughter, Tracy Brunswick; six siblings, Edmund Esser, Fred Esser, Herb (Mary Lynne) Esser, Mary Margaret (Edwin) Sutter, Frances (Norbert) Watercutter, Dolores (Cletus) Eilerman, and Melvin Luthman; and in-laws Max (Bernice) Killen, Rueben (Lucille) Sutter and Paul (Esther) Wellman.
She retired from Mersman Brothers and was a caregiver for numerous individuals.
She donated her body to The Ohio State University Anatomical Donation Program.
A Memorial Mass is 10 a.m. May 18 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Celina, the Rev. Craig Eilerman officiating.
