Mary Wolfe
Mary K. Wolfe, 70, St. Marys, died unexpectedly April 18, 2013, at her residence.
She was born Jan. 7, 1943, in St. Marys, to Evert and Mary (McClain) Adams. On Aug. 22, 1964, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, St. Marys, she married Thomas I. Wolfe, who died Aug. 7, 2012.
Survivors include children, Mark (Hannie) Wolfe, St. Marys, Sandra (Robert) Smock, St. Marys, Pamala (John) Kennedy, St. Marys, and Michael Wolfe, M.D., New York, N.Y.; three grandchildren, Ashley (Shawn) Carpenter, Emily McKee and Lynsey Kennedy; a great-granddaughter, Anna Kennedy; and a sister, Georgia (Nathan) Steinecker, Wapakoneta.
She was a 1962 graduate of St. Marys Memorial High School. She was a homemaker, and made and decorated cakes for all occasions. She was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church and American Legion Post #323 Auxiliary, both of St. Marys.
Her favorite pastimes include singing in the church choir, fishing, crocheting and collecting angels. She also enjoyed caring for her pet Siamese cat, "Sam."
Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the church, the Rev. Barry Stechschulte officiating. Burial will follow at Gethsemane Cemetery, St. Marys.
Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Monday at Miller-Long & Folk Funeral Home, St. Marys.
