Celina Immaculate Conception kindergarten students interact with horses stabled at the Mercer County Fairgrounds on Monday. The students learned about feeding and grooming horses and were amazed when Louise nodded her head yes after the students asked, "Do you like IC school?" Harness horse racer Emily Hay invited the class to visit the stables and learn about what is involved in caring for the animals. A harness horse named Joe, also known as "Aloha Kelly," was hitched and each student donned a helmet and took turns riding in the harness cart around the fairground's racetrack with trainer Steve Boroff. "Awesome," student John Lutz said after his ride around the track.
