Shelly Clay
Shelly Clay, 48, Hilliard and formerly of Mercer County, died April 8, 2013, at Riverside Methodist Hospital.
Surviving are her husband, Christopher Bender of Hilliard; daughter, Gillian Bender; father, Tom Clay of Mendon; friend, Mary Lou Buschor; sister, Pam (Jeff) Lightle of Defiance; nephew, Matthew Lightle; and niece, Sarah Lightle.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Marcia Rosengarten Clay; grandmother, Alberta Clay; grandfather, Darrell Clay; and grandmother, Margaret "Peg" Rosengarten.
She was a human resources director and a member of Scioto Ridge United Methodist Church.
Funeral service is 10:30 a.m. Friday at Scioto Ridge United Methodist Church, Hilliard. Burial will follow at 2:30 p.m. in Mendon Cemetery.
Calling is 9:30-10:30 a.m. Friday in the church narthex.
In lieu of flowers, friends may contribute to a favorite charity in her memory.
Arrangements are under the direction of Egan-Ryan Northwest Chapel.
