Jerry Piper
Jerry D. Piper, 60, Celina, died at 12:37 a.m. March 25, 2013, at Mercer County Community Hospital, Coldwater. Death was due to natural causes.
He was born May 21, 1952, in Celina to Dana and Mary Cisco Piper. His mother is deceased, and his father resides in Celina. On Sept. 2, 1972, he was married to Linda Hime, who survives in Celina.
Also surviving are a son, Brad (Jacci) Piper, Celina; a daughter, Cari (Avery) Calabrese, Celina; three brothers, Dennis (Vicki) Piper, James (Carol) Piper and Andy (Deb) Piper, all of Celina; a sister, Charlene (Rick) Brooks, Celina; and two grandchildren, Ethan Piper and Lucy Piper.
He was a 1970 graduate of Celina High School and had worked in the maintenance department at St. Marys Living Center. He also had worked at Huffy's, The Laurels of Shane Hill and Community First. He was a member of the Celina Moose Lodge and Celina Eagles.
Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Cisco Funeral Home, Celina. The Rev. Robert Ellis will officiate, and burial will be at a later date.
Calling is 1-7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
