Fort Recovery's Mark Bruns goes up for a basket in front of New Knoxville's Evan Eschmeyer during the 1993 Division IV district semifinals at Wapakoneta. Fort Recovery won the game, but the contest eneded with seven seconds remaining on the clock when Eschmeyer shattered a backboard after a dunk.

Twenty years ago, New Knoxville and Fort Recovery had two of the top boys basketball teams in Division IV.
