* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Rick Boyd
Rick "Tiny" Boyd, 47, Spencerville, died March 5, 2013, at his residence.
He was born Oct. 9, 1965, in St. Marys, to William and Jeanne Lehman Boyd Sr. On June 11, 2011, he married Melissa (Smith-Walker) Boyd, who survives in Spencerville.
Also surviving are his stepchildren, Ashley Beck, Collin Walker and Madison Walker, all of St. Marys, and Justin and Tyler Vonenburger, whom he raised as his own; his sister, Diane Boyd of Minster; brother, Ken (Rhonda) Boyd of New Bremen; and four grandchildren, Alyssa and Wyatt Beck, Leland Vondenburger and Aceton Parson.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers, William Boyd Jr. and Don Boyd.
He was a member of the ABATE – Region 3, the Chained Eagles of Ohio, a former Boy Scout leader, a gun enthusiast, a self-taught guitar player and lead guitarist and singer in the bands Mad Hatters and Bad Habit. He had a passion for motorcycles and loved cooking and spending time with his family and friends. He had been a chef at Rustic Haven of St. Marys and at the American Legion Post of Sidney.
A memorial service is 7:30 p.m. Friday at the Gilberg-Hartwig Funeral Home in New Bremen, the Rev. Dr. Sharon Showman and Pastor Shane Crites officiating.
Calling is 4:30 p.m. until the time of the services Friday at the funeral home. Inurnment will be at a later date in the German Protestant Cemetery, New Bremen.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be given to the family in his memory.
