* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

* IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, State Route 117 near Route 118 north of Rockford is water-covered and closed.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Alva Kittle
Alva F. Kittle, 90, Piqua, died at 9:29 p.m. Feb. 24, 2013, at Upper Valley Medical Center.
He was born Dec. 18, 1922, in Bradford to Frank and Florence Kittle, grew up in Celina and raised his family in Piqua. He married Anna Lorraine Pennington on Sept. 25, 1943, in Kentucky; she survives.
Other survivors include a daughter, Tamara (David) Beaty of Troy; a son, Steven T. (Linda) Kittle of Piqua; nine grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.
Deceased are two sons, Dean (Fran) Kittle and Rick Kittle; a grandson, Patrick Kittle, a great-granddaughter, Brittney Kittle; a grandson-in-law, Robert Collins; and a brother, Francis Kittle.
He retired from the 3 Sigma Company and previously had worked at Miller-Meteor Corp. and the Orr Felt Company. He enjoyed caring for the family farm in Montezuma. He will be greatly missed by his family, many friends and faithful pet companion Lady.
Calling is 5-7 p.m. Thursday at Jamieson & Yannucci Funeral Home, Piqua. Private burial will follow at Miami Memorial Park, Covington.
