* IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, State Route 117 near Route 118 north of Rockford is water-covered and closed.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:40 AM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall slowly this afternoon, falling below flood stage later this evening. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Rita Homan
Rita Catherine Homan, 83, of Villa Hills, Ky., formerly of Coldwater, passed peacefully on Feb. 22, 2013, at home with her two daughters at her side.
She was originally from Holy Trinity near Bryant, Ind. Married May 29, 1949, she is survived by her husband, Othmar "Ott" Homan, of 64 years, son of Edward and Catherine Wendel Homan, St. Anthony.
She also is survived by seven children, Thomas (Nancy Moeller) Homan, New Smyrna Beach, Fla., David (Barbara Lange) Homan, Rochester Hills, Mich., Richard (Gretchen Heid) Homan, Naperville, Ill., Susan (Harry) Chesnut, Alexandria, Ky., Catherine (Thomas) Bourgeois, Alexandria, Ky., Michael Homan and Debra Briner, Columbus, and Carol (Dexter) Holt, Sherborn, Mass.; 20 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; five siblings, Eugene (Luella Homan) Reinhart, Bryant, Ind., Norma Huelskamp, Topeka, Kan., Carl (Janet Fields) Reinhart, Bryant, Ind., James (Patricia Donnelly) Reinhart, Centerville, and Judy (Jim) Alig, Bryant, Ind.; and a sister-in-law, Mary Meier (Dorsten), Celina.
Deceased are a brother, Ernie Reinhart; a sister, Elizabeth Reinhart; a brother-in-law, Ivo (Steve) Huelskamp; and a grandchild, Theresa Homan.
She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Coldwater, the Ladies Sodality and the Catholic Order of Foresters. She enjoyed being a volunteer at the Coldwater hospital gift shop and also retired from Reynolds & Reynolds. In her earlier years, she enjoyed gardening, canning and especially fishing. When she was younger, she played in a dance band for weddings and continued to play the piano and organ throughout her life. She was an accomplished artist, painting with oils and dabbling with making wine.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Burial will follow at St. Elizabeth Cemetery, Coldwater.
Calling is 3-8 p.m. Wednesday and 9:30-10:30 a.m. Thursday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Coldwater.
