Doris Hawk
Doris C. "Judy" Hawk, 89, Celina, died at 10:25 p.m. Feb. 8, 2013, at Colonial Nursing Home, Rockford.
She was born Aug. 7, 1923, in Canton, to Earl T. and Emma Rolli Ferguson. On April 21, 1946, she married Robert Hawk, who died Feb. 10, 2013.
Surviving are two sons, James Alan (Mary) Hawk of Celina and Donald (Teresa) Hawk of Terrace Park; a daughter, Lynette Kay (John) Sweeney of Celina; three grandchildren, Catherine M. (Jon) Gorzynski, Tara M. Hawk and Dillon Ross Hawk; and a great-grandchild, Christina (Chris) Newbauer.
Deceased are her brother, Gene Ferguson; a son-in-law, Keith Fetters; a brother and sister-in-law, Richard (Marilyn) Hawk; a sister, Ruth (Cliff) Cochran; and a grandchild, Karen Sweeney.
She graduated from Canton McKinley High School and worked at Hoover Sweeper Co. in Canton. She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Celina, Chapter #91 Order of Eastern Star card club in Celina and the church charity circle.
Funeral services are 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. John Lutheran Church, the Rev. Jeff Gramza and Rev. Douglas Meyer officiating. Burial will follow at North Grove Cemetery.
Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday at Cisco Funeral Home in Celina and one hour prior to services Saturday at the church.
An Eastern Star service is 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be given to State of the Heart Hospice and St. John Builders.
