* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Rodney Helmer
Rodney E. Helmer, 66, Greenville, passed away Jan. 23, 2013, at his residence with his family by his side.
He was born Feb. 23, 1946, in Greenville to Ralph and Thelma Coby Helmer, who are deceased. On Aug. 6, 1988, he married Debra Graham, who survives.
Also surviving are his children, Bruce (Tonya Beasley) Glaze of Greenville, Todd (Cheryl) Stevens of Greenville, Elecia Pitman of Denton, Texas, Ronnie (Rhonda) Helmer of Celina, Jerry (Melissa Frech) Wert of Sevona, Kary (Brandy) Helmer of Celina, Robert (Diana) Shaffer of Greenville, Andre Shaffer of Greenville and Steve (Lisa) Shaffer of Greenville; 29 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and brothers and sisters, Ralph (Janet) Helmer, Lucreda (Joe) Brandt, Shelva Rose and Joan (Donald) Holdeman, all of Greenville, Dick Helmer of Troy, Bob (Joyce) Helmer of Troy and Beatrice Hergenrather of Piqua.
Deceased are brothers, Charles and Jackson Helmer and Ronnie Ray.
He was retired from Pax Steel in Coldwater, where he was a tow motor operator. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and Steelworkers Local 4839.
Calling is 4-7 p.m. Saturday at Oliver-Floyd Funeral Home, Greenville.
The family requests memorial contributions be given to Darke County Hospice.
