Maxine Cady
Maxine Francis Cady, 94, Lima, died at 5:15 p.m. Dec. 7, 2012, at Shawnee Manor Nursing Home.
She was born Sept. 12, 1918, in Lima, to Charles M. McClain and Mabel Lippencott McClain. On March 11, 1955, she married James Louis Cady, who died after 53 years of marriage.
Surviving are her children, Barbara (Joe) Binkley, Jim (Leslie) Cady, Betty (Glenn) Mumper-Bresler, Bev (Max) Zizelman and David (Pat) Cady; 18 grandchildren; 46 great-grandchildren; and 21 great-great-grandchildren.
Also deceased is her son, Chuck Cady.
She was a homemaker and previously worked at the Lima tank depot and Omar bakery. She was a member of the Eastern Star and El Karan Caldron.
Funeral services are 10 a.m. Wednesday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home, the Rev. Terry Ayers officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery, Lima.
Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
An Eastern Star service will follow at 8 p.m. Tuesday.
