* WHERE...Portions of Indiana, including the following counties, Dearborn, Fayette, Franklin, Ripley, Union and Wayne and Ohio, including the following counties, Adams, Auglaize, Brown, Butler, Champaign, Clark, Clermont, Clinton, Darke, Delaware, Fairfield, Fayette, Franklin, Greene, Hamilton, Hardin, Highland, Hocking, Licking, Logan, Madison, Mercer, Miami, Montgomery, Pickaway, Pike, Preble, Ross, Scioto, Shelby, Union and Warren.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Catherine Burd
Catherine "Bunky" Burd, 83, St. Marys, died at 6:35 p.m. Sept. 27, 2012, at Golden Living Center-Valley, St. Marys.
She was born June 15, 1929, in Petersburg, Va., to Burton Luther and Gracie Marie Michaels Boyd. On July 7, 1945, she married Paul W. Burd, who died June 10, 1992.
Surviving are four daughters, Darlene (Jerry Klopfer) Young, Oviedo, Fla., Deb (Emerson) Arnett, Greenville, Patricia (Eugene) Wedding, St. Marys, and Barbara (Walter) Mabry, Montezuma; two sons, Russell (Terrie) Burd, Xenia, and Mark Burd, Dayton; a sister, Elsie (Bob) Jones, Colonial Heights, Va.; a brother, Alex Boyd, Colonial Heights; 15 grand children and 24 great-grandchildren.
Deceased are five brothers, James, Ernest, Woodrow, Bernard and Hubert Boyd; two sisters, Margaret Miles and Ruby Smith; two half-brothers, Frank and Harvey Boyd; and two half-sisters, Pearl and Ada Boyd.
She was a homemaker and an accomplished seamstress, making numerous wedding gowns, dresses and suits. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, St. Marys.
Services are are 3 p.m. Tuesday at Miller Funeral Home, St. Marys, the Rev. Mark Foor officiating. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memory Garden, near Moulton.
Calling is 1-3 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be given to First Baptist Church.
