* WHERE...St. Marys River at Rockford.
* WHEN...Until this afternoon.
* IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, State Route 117 near Route 118 north of Rockford is water-covered and closed.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:40 AM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall slowly this afternoon, falling below flood stage later this evening. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Beverly Edwards

Beverly A. Edwards, 75, Van Wert, died at 2:05 p.m. Sept. 26, 2012, at the Inpatient Hospice Center, Van Wert.

She was born Oct. 8, 1936, in Dublin Township, Mercer County, to Victor and Wanda Krugh Shindeldecker. On Nov. 24, 1956, she married Kenneth Wayne Edwards, who died Aug. 10, 2000.

Surviving are a son, Brent T. (Brenda) Edwards, Van Wert; a daughter, Shawn (Jim) Germann, Van Wert; a brother, Marvin (Darlene) Shindeldecker, Rockford; and five grandchildren.

Also deceased are a brother, Danny, who died in infancy and a sister, Donna Now.

She was a homemaker and also farmed with her husband. She attended Calvary Evangelical Church, Van Wert.

Funeral services are 11 a.m. Saturday at Cowan & Son Funeral Home, Van Wert. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery, Ohio City.

Calling is 10-11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

Memorials may be directed to Community Health Professionals Inpatient Hospice Center or Gideons international.
