* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Lance Evans
Lance A. Evans, 66, New Knoxville, died at 5:59 p.m. July 22, 2012, at Lima Memorial Health System.
He was born Nov. 4, 1945, in Long Island, N.Y., to Alan and Dorothy Bowen Evans, who are deceased. On Nov. 15, 1965, he married Linda M. Nickl, who survives.
Also surviving are two daughters, Cheryl (Joseph) Micheal, New Bremen, and Holly (Brian) McCaw, Gahanna; two brothers, Gaylord (Roseann) Evans and Windsor Evans, all of Tarboro N.C.; and four grandchildren.
Deceased are two stepgrandchildren, Eric and Shannon Micheal.
He was a self-employed home improvements contractor.
A celebration of life is 2-4 p.m. Saturday at 5474 Henschen Road, New Knoxville. Private family burial is at Rockbridge Memorial Gardens, Lexington, Va.
Vornholt-Miller Funeral Home, New Knoxville, is handling arrangements. Condolences may be left at millerfuneralhomes.net.
