* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Loretta Schroer
Loretta C. Schroer, 79, Coldwater, died July 18, 2012, at her home.
She was born March 8, 1933, in Coldwater to Ferdinand and Mary Lefeld Roessner. On Aug. 13, 1955, she married Joseph H. Schroer, who died April 9, 1982.
Surviving are three daughters, Cindy (Gary) Schmiesing, Portland, Ind., Brenda (Chuck) Smith, Rockford, and Melissa (John) Hilgeford, Cassella; a sister, Antoinette Garrity, St. Henry; a sister-in-law, Jean (John) Sandy, Illinois; 17 grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
Deceased are a son, Randy Schroer; a sister, Rita Koesters; and two brothers, Thomas and Bruno Roessner.
She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Coldwater, the Ladies Sodality of Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church in Cassella and the Coldwater American Legion Auxiliary. She volunteered at the Mercer County Home.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Cassella church with burial to follow at the church cemetery.
Calling is 2-7 p.m. Sunday and 9 -10 a.m. Monday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, St. Henry.
