Faye SoRelle
Faye P. SoRelle, 91, Celina, died June 13, 2012, at The Gardens at Celina.
She was born June 29, 1920, in Childress, Texas, to Eugene and Leona Adams Palmer. Her first husband, William Cox, and her second husband, William SoRelle, are deceased.
Surviving are a son, Bruce (Suttiwan) Cox, Lawrenceville, Ga.; a daughter, Janie (William) Stammen, Celina; a brother, Lewis Palmer, Amarillo, Texas; and five grandchildren. Two brothers, Dan and Billie Palmer, are deceased.
A 1938 graduate of Amarillo High School and a graduate of Fleming Business College, she worked as a secretary for South Western Investments in Amarillo and later worked for Gas Pipeline Co. during World War II. She retired July 30, 1990, after 25 years of service with Ladenthal & Hardwick International of Philadelphia, Pa., and Gainesville, Ga. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Celina, and First Presbyterian Church, Plainview, Texas.
Memorial services are 11 a.m. July 9 at Lehman-Hogenkamp-Dzendzel Funeral Home, Celina, the Rev. John Nunnally officiating. Burial will follow at North Grove Cemetery, Celina.
Calling is after 10 a.m. July 9 at the funeral home.
