* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Showers and thunderstorms producing heavy rain will impact the area overnight. Rainfall totals of 1 to 3 inches are expected with locally higher amounts. The heavy rain combined with saturated ground will lead to potential flash flooding.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Joan Riley
Joan Grant Riley, 92, of Willshire, died at 8:10 a.m. June 11, 2012, at Laurels of Shane Hill, Rockford.
She was born April 13, 1920, in Van Wert, to Harry and Laura Kiger Grant. On July 27, 1940, she married Eugene Riley, who died Aug. 31, 2004.
Surviving are two sons, Mike (Janet) Riley and Van Riley, all of Rockford; a daughter, Deatra (Doug) Evans, Medina; a sister, Debby Pflum, Napierville, Ill.; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; and six stepgreat-grandchildren.
She was a member of Willshire Union United Methodist Church and the Order of Eastern Star. She also attended Rockford United Methodist Church.
Services will be noon Thursday at Ketcham-Ripley Funeral Home, Rockford, with Pastor Chip Steffy officiating. Burial will follow at Willshire Cemetery.
Calling is after 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
