Eugenia Borgerding
Eugenia K. "Jean" Borgerding, 72, of Fort Recovery, died June 6, 2012, at Mercer County Community Hospital, Coldwater.
She was born April 27, 1940, in New Weston to Ferdinand and Leona Knapke Heuing. On Oct. 25, 1961, she married Harold "Hans" Borgerding, who survives.
Other survivors are three sons, Fred (Ruth) Borgerding, New Weston, Larry (Patty) Borgerding, Union City, Ind., and Russell (Jody) Borgerding, North Port, Fla.; three daughters, Sandy (Rich) Rosenbeck, Fort Recovery, Angie Borgerding, Fort Recovery, and Deb (Mitch) Voskuhl, Coldwater; two sisters, Ida (Jerry) Boeckman, Dayton, and Margie Fleck, St. Sebastian; a sister-in-law, Kathleen Heuing, Russia; 11 grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
Deceased are a brother, Melvin "Bud" Heuing, and five sisters, Mary Ann Leopard, Alice Leopard, Dorothy Tobe, Edna Koester and Norma Huber.
She was a 1958 graduate of Fort Recovery High School and a member of St. Paul Catholic Church, Sharpsburg.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the church, the Rev. Thomas Dorn officiating. Burial is at the church cemetery.
Calling is 4-8 p.m. Friday and 9-9:45 a.m. Saturday at Brockman-Boeckman Funeral Home, Fort Recovery.
