* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Alfrieda Wessel
Alfrieda L. Wessel, 103, St. Marys, died at 6:30 p.m. May 3, 2012, at Golden Living Center-Valley, St. Marys.
She was born May 7, 1908, in St. Marys to Henry and Emma Wierwille Quellhorst. On June 20, 1929, she married Earl "Heinie" Wessel, who died Aug. 1, 1980.
Surviving are two sons, James (Eileen) Wessel, St. Marys, and Geary Wessel, St. Marys; a daughter, Mary Ann (James) Rempe, St. Marys; 11 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren and 21 great-great-grandchildren.
Deceased are four brothers, Richard Quellhorst, Clifford Quellhorst, Alton Quellhorst and Roger Quellhorst; a sister, Cordelia McDermitt; a daughter-in-law, Betty Wessel; a great-granddaughter and two great-great-grandsons.
She was a homemaker and worked as domestic help for various families. She also worked as a custodian for St. Marys City Schools.
She was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ in St. Marys and the New Bremen Historical Society.
Services are 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Miller Funeral Home in St. Marys, the Rev. Ed Bray officiating. Burial will follow at Elm Grove Cemetery, St. Marys.
Calling is 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to St. Paul's UCC memorial fund.
