Snow showers will continue this afternoon into the evening hours. Slick spots may develop on roads tonight as temperatures drop and northwest winds gust from 20 to 30 mph. Coverage of snow showers is expected to decrease overnight before ending Monday morning. Most the area will see an accumulation of one-half inch to 2 inches. Visibility will be restricted at times in the heavier showers.
Roadways may become slick. If traveling, be alert, slow down and allow extra time to reach your destination.

Recent fatal accidents have ODOT, drivers thinking about safety

A recent series of fatal crashes along U.S. 127 in Mercer County raises questions about the highway's safety and an increase in distracted driving.
Officials with the Ohio Department of Transportation have vowed to investigate the accidents that killed five people in 16 days to determine if any roadway changes are needed. [More]
St. Marys tops Celina in extra innings

CELINA - For six innings, Celina's baseball team did everything it needed to keep St. Marys off the scoreboard and held a 3-0 lead with three outs to go.
Then, things started going the Roughriders' way.
St. Marys scored three runs in the top of the seventh inning to tie the score and then scored two in the eighth inning to leave Montgomery Field with a 5-3 win in Western Buckeye League action. [More]
