Snow showers to continue this morning. Slick spots on area roads will be possible this morning with temperatures below freezing. Motorists can expect rapid changes in visibility when encountering some of the heavier snow showers. Northwest winds gusting up to 30 mph will add to the travel impacts due to blowing and drifting snow.
Roadways may become slick. If traveling, be alert, slow down and allow extra time to reach your destination.

Sandra Burnett
Sandra Dawn Burnett, 51, Celina, died April 6, 2012, at Laurels of Shane Hill, Rockford.
She was born Oct. 3, 1960, in San Diego, Calif., to John and Ruth Hylton Burnett.
Private family services will be held at the convenience of the family. She will be buried in Elm Ridge Cemetery, Muncie, Ind.
