* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Richard Steveson
Richard Steveson, 71, Portland, Ind., died March 13, 2012, at Reid Hospital, Richmond, Ind.
He was born May 6, 1940, in Piqua, to Jesse and Mary Stem Steveson. On Aug. 18, 1960, he married Rydia Kennedy, who died April 20, 2008.
Surviving are two sons, Jerry L. Steveson, Portland, and Richard A. Steveson, Portland; a daughter, Karen S. Fultz, Portland; four brothers, Tom Steveson, Muncie, Ind., Fred Steveson, Portland, Dale Steveson, Portland, and Don Steveson, Saratoga, Ind.; two sisters, Mary Ann Rigby, Bryant, Ind., and Wilma Larmore, Kansas City, Mo.; five grandchildren and four great great-grandchildren.
He was retired from Teledyne Portland Forge and was a maintenance man for Paradise Point Campground in Portland.
He served with the National Guard and was a member of the Portland Lions Club.
Services are 10 a.m. Friday at Baird-Freeman Funeral Home, Portland, Pastor Larry Eads presiding. Burial will follow at Gravel Hill Cemetery, west of Bryant.
Calling is 3-7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
