* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Showers and thunderstorms producing heavy rain will impact the area overnight. Rainfall totals of 1 to 3 inches are expected with locally higher amounts. The heavy rain combined with saturated ground will lead to potential flash flooding.

* IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, State Route 117 near Route 118 north of Rockford is water-covered and closed.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Arthur Hemmelgarn
Arthur A. Hemmelgarn, 83, Fort Recovery, died Feb. 12, 2012, at Florida Hospital Heartland Medical Center, Sebring, Fla.
He was born April 1, 1928, in Dayton to Charles and Catherine Schmitt Hemmelgarn. On April 11, 1953, he married Annie Berning, who survives.
Also surviving are children, Gary (Sharon) Hemmelgarn, Fort Recovery, Larry (Linda) Hemmelgarn, Fort Recovery, Sharon (Gary) McClinch, Versailles, Cindy (Jim) Bernard, Montezuma, and Janet (Larry) Sauer, Westerville; a sister-in-law, Becky Hemmelgarn, Fort Recovery; 15 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Deceased is a brother, Eugene Hemmelgarn.
He was a graduate of Fort Recovery High School, member of Knights of Columbus in Fort Recovery and Coldwater Eagles and a Gibson Township trustee for 33 years. He also served on the Mercer County Community Hospital board, the Fort Recovery Fire Department board and Mercer County EMA board. He was a member of Mary Help of Christian Catholic Church, Fort Recovery.
A Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30 a.m. Friday at the church, the Rev. Thomas Dorn officiating. Burial will follow in St. Paul Cemetery, Sharpsburg.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Thursday and 9-9:45 a.m. Friday at Brockman-Boeckman Funeral Home, Fort Recovery.
