* WHEN...From 7 PM EDT this evening through Monday morning.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Showers and thunderstorms producing heavy rain will impact the area overnight. Rainfall totals of 1 to 3 inches are expected with locally higher amounts. The heavy rain combined with saturated ground will lead to potential flash flooding.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Verne Mohr
Former Rockford resident Verne C. Mohr, 57, Goshen, Ind., died at 11:50 a.m. Jan. 13, 2012, at his residence.
He was born May 2, 1954, to Lurline Frommel, who is deceased. On March 14, 1987, he married Diane Randall, who survives.
Also surviving are a daughter, Christine Mohr, Goshen; siblings, Sheryl (JR) Black, Joshua Mohr, Ronald (Annie) Mohr and Richard "Rock" Mohr, all of Elkhart, Ind.; and a granddaughter.
Also deceased is a brother, Bruce Mohr.
He was a 1972 graduate of Parkway High School, served in the U.S. Navy in 1972 and was a plant manager at Foam EX for 30 years.
Service was Jan. 21 at Hively Mennonite Church, Elkhart, the Rev. Charles Geiser officiating.
Arrangements were by Hartzler Gutermuth Inman Funeral Home, Elkhart.
