* WHEN...Until this afternoon.
* IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, State Route 117 near Route 118 north of Rockford is water-covered and closed.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:40 AM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall slowly this afternoon, falling below flood stage later this evening. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Raymond Holscher
Raymond B. Holscher, 82, Newport, died Nov. 28, 2011 at his residence. He had been ill for several months.
He was born Nov. 30, 1928 in Yorkshire to Fred and Clara Poeppelman Holscher. On Oct. 15, 1958, he married Pauline "Tootie" Marchal, who died April 10, 1992.
Surviving are children, Mark (Debra) Holscher, Fort Loramie, Matt (Lanell) Holscher, Russia, Martha Holscher, Fort Loramie, Michael Holscher, Fort Loramie, Morris Holscher, Minster, Marvin (Teresa) Holscher, Fort Loramie, and Marla (Stanley) Grieshop, Covington; siblings Robert Holscher, New Bremen, Wilfred (Rita) Holscher, Minster, and Rosemary (Don) Homan, Burkettsville; in-laws, Frances Holscher, and Ruth Holscher, Osgood; 15 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Deceased are a sister, Mathilda Pleiman and brothers, Urban, Edward, Joseph, Leo and Alfred.
He was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Newport, and served as sexton for the church cemetery. He was a member of Osgood American Legion and was its past commander. He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict. He retired from Midmark Corporation after 23 years service.
A Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30 a.m. Friday at the church, the Rev. Steven Shoup officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with full military honors by the Osgood American Legion Firing Squad.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Thursday and 9-10 a.m. Friday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster.
