* WHERE...Portions of Indiana, including the following counties, Dearborn, Fayette, Franklin, Ripley, Union and Wayne and Ohio, including the following counties, Adams, Auglaize, Brown, Butler, Champaign, Clark, Clermont, Clinton, Darke, Delaware, Fairfield, Fayette, Franklin, Greene, Hamilton, Hardin, Highland, Hocking, Licking, Logan, Madison, Mercer, Miami, Montgomery, Pickaway, Pike, Preble, Ross, Scioto, Shelby, Union and Warren.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Charles Steinke
Charles L. Steinke, 81, died Sept. 30, 2011, at Dorothy Love Retirement Community, Sidney.
He was born April 1, 1930, in Burkettsville, to Isadore and Bertha (Tumbusch) Steinke. On Oct. 27, 1951, he married Armella Bills, who survives.
Also surviving are five children, Robert Steinke, Fort Loramie, Roger (Lisa) Steinke, New Bremen, Michael (Annette) Steinke, St. Louis, Mo.; Brother Thomas Paul Steinke, Chillum, Md., and Mark (Lisa) Steinke, Sidney; four siblings, Esther (Tim) Mattingly, Dayton, Alma (Len) Clune, Minster, Paul (Marge) Steinke, Tipp City, and Jesse (Shirley) Steinke, Coldwater; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Norb Kramer, Chickasaw, Millie Steinke, Tipp City; Verena (Rich) Langenkamp, St. Henry, and Joan (Ben) Post, St. Wendelin; 15 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, Brian Steinke; two sisters, Lilly Steinke and Alice Kremer; and a brother, James Steinke.
He was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean War and had been stationed in Germany. He retired in 1996 from Leroy Dresser in Sidney. He attended St. Michael Catholic Church, Fort Loramie, and was a member of the Fort Loramie American Legion Post #355.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the church, the Rev. Steven Shoup presiding. Burial will follow at the church cemetery with full military honors by the American Legion.
Calling is 3-8 p.m. Monday and 9-10 a.m. Tuesday at Gehret Funeral Home, Fort Loramie.
Memorials may be made to St. Vincent DePaul or charity of the donor's choice.
