* WHERE...Portions of Indiana, including the following counties, Dearborn, Fayette, Franklin, Ripley, Union and Wayne and Ohio, including the following counties, Adams, Auglaize, Brown, Butler, Champaign, Clark, Clermont, Clinton, Darke, Delaware, Fairfield, Fayette, Franklin, Greene, Hamilton, Hardin, Highland, Hocking, Licking, Logan, Madison, Mercer, Miami, Montgomery, Pickaway, Pike, Preble, Ross, Scioto, Shelby, Union and Warren.
* WHEN...From 7 PM EDT this evening through Monday morning.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Showers and thunderstorms producing heavy rain will impact the area overnight. Rainfall totals of 1 to 3 inches are expected with locally higher amounts. The heavy rain combined with saturated ground will lead to potential flash flooding.

* IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, State Route 117 near Route 118 north of Rockford is water-covered and closed.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Edward Meyer
Edward Meyer, 94, North Star, died Sept. 1, 2011, at Briarwood Village, Coldwater.
He was born April 26, 1917, in Willowdell, to Joseph and Rosa (Koester) Meyer. On Oct. 23, 1946, he married Margaret B. DeLoye, who died Nov. 30, 1999.  
Surviving are the children, Jerome (Nancy) Meyer, Coldwater, Sylvia (Thomas) Goubeaux, Greenville, Patricia (Roger) Winner, North Star, Rita (Thomas Maynard) Meyer, Sidney, and Karen (Jack) Magoteaux, Versailles; a sister, Alice Pohlman, Coldwater; 18 grandchildren; and 36 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by siblings Sr. Anna Meyer, Mary Meyer, Albert Meyer, Lawrence Meyer, Joseph Meyer, Urban Meyer, Wilfred Meyer, Emma Meyer and Clara DeLoye.
A retired dairy farmer, he sold seed corn for 35 years and served as township trustee for 16 years. He was a member of St. Louis Catholic Church, North Star, and its Holy Name Society.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the church, the Rev. David Zink officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.
Calling is 3-7 p.m. Monday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster, and 9 to 10 a.m. Tuesday at the church.
