* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Leroy Timmerman
Former Fort Recovery resident Leroy Bernard Timmerman, 81, Brooklyn, Mich., died Aug. 12, 2011.
He was born Dec. 21, 1929 in Coldwater to William and Ida Borgerding Timmerman. In 1957, he married Dorothy Lee Hensey, who is deceased.
Surviving are four children, Ramona (Robert) Devore, Brooklyn, Barbara (Glenn) Decker, Moscow, Mich., Dean Timmerman, Berkley, Mich., and Deanna Timmerman, Centerline, Mich.; siblings, Roscoe (Elsie) Timmerman, Fort Recovery, and Laura Wendel, Fort Recovery; seven grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
Deceased are brothers, Eugene and John Timmerman; a sister, Mary Lou Hughes; and a great-granddaughter.
He was a member of Abundant Life Assembly of Brooklyn, Teamster UFCW Local 876, the American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict and received the Korean Service Medal, three Bronze Stars and the United Nations Service Medal.
Private graveside service, officiated by the Rev. Steve Samonek, was performed Aug. 19 at Fort Custer National Cemetery, Augusta, Mich., with full military honors.
