* WHERE...Area-wide.
* WHEN...Until 11 AM EST this morning.
* IMPACTS...Significant visibility reductions to near zero at times will necessitate extra caution for commuters through late morning. Temperatures below freezing in many areas will increase the threat for icy patches on elevated roadways.

Algae, but not the same kind that made the lake look like a multicolored carpet last year, coats a channel near Windy Point Marina this week. The main lake remains clear of such blooms this year, according to residents.
