* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Beatrice Young
Former New Bremen resident Beatrice C. Young, 95, died at 8:54 a.m. at Otterbein St. Marys Retirement Community.
She was born Oct. 31, 1915 in Yellow Springs, to the Rev. and Mrs. C. Harold Clerke. On Sept. 22, 1938, she married S. Chester Young, who died Oct. 1, 1982.
Surviving are three children, Beatrice Ann Young, Valdez, Ark., Thomas (Cindy) Young, Erlanger, Ky., and William (Cindy) Young, New Bremen; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Deceased is a sister, Virginia Arbenz.
A member of St. Paul United Church of Christ, New Bremen, she was a member of the New Bremen Historic Association, Friends of the New Bremen Library, the former New Bremen Women's Club, Delta Kappa Gamma and the Ohio Retired Teachers Association.
She was a graduate of Ryley High School, South Bend, Ind., the Western College, Oxford, the University of Cincinnati and Colorado State University, Fort Collins, Colo.
She taught second grade at New Bremen Elementary School.
Services are 11 a.m. Aug. 13 at Gilberg-Hartwig Funeral Home, New Bremen, the Rev. Becky Erb Strang officiating. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery, Sidney, at a later date.
Calling is one hour before services at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the church memorial fund, the Friends of the New Bremen Library, Otterbein of St. Marys Partners Appreciation Fund or to Grand Lake Hospice.
