* IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, State Route 117 near Route 118 north of Rockford is water-covered and closed.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Larry Goffena
Larry J. Goffena, 71, Coldwater, died at 8:31 p.m. July 18, 2011, at The Laurels of Shane Hill, Rockford.
He was born Aug. 15, 1939, in Greenville to Ralph and Isabelle Cramer Goffena. On Jan. 16, 1965, he married Barbara Giere, who survives in Coldwater.
Also surviving are five children, Susan (Scott) Riedlinger, Reynoldsburg, Carole (Don) Mayes, Castleton, Vt., Janelle (Tom) Wehrman, Coldwater, Jim (Robin) Goffena, Irmo, S.C., and Bob Goffena, Dayton; a sister, Sharon (George) Treon, Versailles; and three grandchildren.
He was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Coldwater, a board member at Gateway Outreach and a former St. Anthony Parish councilman, usher and Eucharistic minister.
He owned and operated Larry's Barbershop in Dayton and Celina until 1978. He was retired from Sinter Metal, Van Wert; Copeland, Sidney; and Huffy Mfg., Celina.
A Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Friday and 9-10 a.m. Saturday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Coldwater.
Memorials may be directed to State of the Heart Hospice.
