* IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, State Route 117 near Route 118 north of Rockford is water-covered and closed.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:40 AM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall slowly this afternoon, falling below flood stage later this evening. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Dwight Bennett
Dwight Monroe Bennett, 89, of Roselawn Manor in Spencerville and formerly of Mendon, died at 11:45 a.m. Feb. 21, 2011, at St. Rita's Medical Center, following a brief illness.
He was born July 5, 1921, in Yorkshire to Vermont Henry and Lura Monroe Bennett. He was married to Louise Roesner, Marie Shimp and Mildred Partin, all deceased.
Surviving are children, Frederick Dwight Bennett, Port Isabel, Texas, Jane Louis Patterson, Lima, Joe Alan Bennett, Celina, Cathy Dee Bruns, Celina, Randall Phillip Bennett, Celina; two sisters, Margery Banks and Helen Stemm; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
Deceased is a son, Gregory Edward Bennett; a brother, Glenn Bennett; and sisters, Ruth Birt and Lucile Pattison.
He was a member of Chattanooga United Methodist Church, the Mendon Lions Club, Mercer Masonic Lodge 121 and Spencerville Odd Fellows. He retired from Goodyear Tire and Rubber, St. Marys, after 37 years of service. He also had worked as a fix-it man for a local home contractor and retired from The Oaks Golf Course in Van Wert at the age of 85.
Memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Thomas E. Bayliff Funeral Home, Spencerville. Light refreshments will be served immediately following the service at The Masonic Temple, Spencerville.
