Scattered snow showers can be expected this morning along with westerly winds gusting to around 40 mph at times. Temperatures will continue to fall this morning, with readings dropping well below freezing.
Snow accumulations will be a half inch or less. This will result in some slick spots on untreated surfaces as well as bridges and overpasses. Please allow for some extra time to reach your destination this morning. Be prepared for changing road conditions as well as gusty winds.

Celina's Lizz Carr has an individual berth in next week's state track and field meet after the first day of regional competition on Thursday in Lexington. Carr high jumped 5-3 and finished in second place to earn the automatic-qualifying berth. Carr also raced her way to the finals of the 100-meter hurdles, which will be run on Saturday starting at 12:30 p.m.
