* WHERE...St. Marys River at Rockford.
* WHEN...Until this afternoon.
* IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, State Route 117 near Route 118 north of Rockford is water-covered and closed.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:40 AM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall slowly this afternoon, falling below flood stage later this evening. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

George Winget
George W. Winget, 92, St. Marys, died at 12:48 p.m. March 28, 2011 at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital, St. Marys.
He was born Dec. 20, 1918, in Celina to William and Anna Kretchman Winget. On Sept. 21, 1947, he married Frances Worthington, who survives at the residence.
Also surviving are three children, James (Sharon Whetsone) Winget, St. Marys, Jeffrey (Joni) Winget, Nashville, Tenn., and Bradley (Teena) Winget, Huntersville, N.C.; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Deceased are five brothers, Howard, Fritz, Harold, Clarence and William Winget; two sisters, Helen Winget and Mary Barger; and a grandson.
He retired from Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company in St. Marys after 30 years service. He also was an auto body repairman for many years, and after retirement, he was a truck driver for Grady Shaner Truck Sales in St. Marys. He was a member of Community of Christ Church, Shawnee.
Funeral rites are 11 a.m. Friday at Miller Funeral Home, St. Marys, with Elder David Scott and Craig Martens officiating. Burial will follow at Kossuth Cemetery.
Calling is 2-5 and and 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Memorial donations may be directed to Grand Lake Hospice.
