* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Showers and thunderstorms producing heavy rain will impact the area overnight. Rainfall totals of 1 to 3 inches are expected with locally higher amounts. The heavy rain combined with saturated ground will lead to potential flash flooding.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Donald C. 'Don' Gruss
Donald C. "Don" Gruss, 80, Yoder, Ind. died March 10, 2011.
He was born April 14, 1930, in Mercer County, to Isadore and Mary Garake Gruss. He married Fran Miller, who survives.
Also surviving are 10 children, Vickie Kidwell, Fort Wayne, Ind., Karen (Tsanyen) Yang, Holland, Dave Gruss, Bluffton, Ind., Therese Gruss, Bluffton, Greg (Patty) Gruss, Ossian, Ind., Joe (Julie) Gruss, Columbia City, Ind., Barb (Shayne) Compton, Yuma, Ariz., Steve (Amy) Gruss, Yoder, and Tonia (Brian) Mahoney, Cumming, Ga.; three siblings, Irene Timmerman, Rita Eyink and Vincent Gruss; 21 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Deceased are two brothers, Victor and LaVerne Gruss.
He worked in route sales for Coverall Rental and was a farmer. He attended St. Aloysius Catholic Church, Yoder, where he was a Eucharistic Minister. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, American Legion Post 241, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1421 and the Sun City Emergency Squad. He was in the Army and served in Korea.
Funeral Mass is 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church.
Calling is 4-9 p.m. Monday, with a rosary service at 7 p.m., at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Funeral Home, Ossian, Ind., and 10-11 a.m. Tuesday at the church.
Memorials may be made to the church, bi-county services or Visiting Nurse & Hospice Home.
