Scattered snow showers can be expected this morning along with westerly winds gusting to around 40 mph at times. Temperatures will continue to fall this morning, with readings dropping well below freezing. Snow accumulations will be a half inch or less. This will result in some slick spots on untreated surfaces as well as bridges and overpasses. Please allow for some extra time to reach your destination this morning. Be prepared for changing road conditions as well as gusty winds.

An arctic cold front will move quickly east across the region through daybreak. This will usher in a much colder airmass with temperatures quickly falling below freezing. Snow showers can be expected this morning with snow accumulations of a half inch or less possible. This will combine with the falling temperatures to produce slick spots on untreated roadways. In addition, brisk west winds will gust to 25 to 35 mph at times this morning. The morning commute will be affected by these conditions. Please allow for some extra time to reach your destination. Be prepared for slick spots, especially on bridges an overpasses.
CELINA - The second phase of the Main Street reconstruction project is set to begin in just over a week.
Main Street, from Lake Shore Drive to Fayette Street, is scheduled to be closed March 14 to June 6 for the work. However, Celina Planning and Community Development Director Kent Bryan said it may be closed a few weeks longer as parking stripes and a final inch of asphalt need applied on the entire stretch of road. For the St. Marys' girls bowling team, it was a battle all the way to the gold.
After needing a bowl-off just to make the eight-team finals of the 2011 OHSAA State Bowling Championships, the Roughriders worked their way through the final rounds of competition to capture the team state title.
