* WHERE...St. Marys River at Rockford.
* WHEN...Until this afternoon.
* IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, State Route 117 near Route 118 north of Rockford is water-covered and closed.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:40 AM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall slowly this afternoon, falling below flood stage later this evening. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Michael Gass
Michael A. "Peewee" Gass, 57, Coldwater, died at 4:08 p.m. Feb. 1, 2011, at Mercer County Community Hospital in Coldwater.
He was born Aug. 8, 1953, in Lima to Richard and Mable Hicks Gass. His mother survives in Lima, and his father is deceased. On May 4, 1973, he married Denise Miller, who survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Shane (Sheila) Gass, Celina, and Joshua Gass, Coldwater; five siblings, Richard Gass Jr., Don (Jan) Gass, Dianna Boughan, Judy Harris and Joan Smith, all of Lima; his mother-in-law, Maxine Miller, Coldwater; two sisters-in-law, Deb (Ed) Bennett, Dunkirk, Ind., and Mary (Paul) Chandler, Muncie, Ind.; and three grandchildren.
Also deceased is his father-in-law.
He worked in masonry restoration and owned Brix Restoration.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Coldwater, the Rev. Richard Walling officiating. Burial is at St. Elizabeth Cemetery in Coldwater.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Friday and 9-10 a.m. Saturday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home in Coldwater.
