Lloyd Wiseman
Lloyd F. "Bud" Wiseman, 84, Ohio City, died 8:20 p.m. Dec. 3, 2010, at Van Wert Inpatient Hospice Center in Van Wert.
He was born Sept. 15, 1926, in Ohio City to Peter W. and Loretta Louetta Rayer Wiseman. He married Jenny Irene Hey, who died March 14, 1974. On Dec. 20, 1975, he married Freida Orah Balliet Foust, who survives.
Also surviving is a stepson, Alfred Foust, Payne; two sisters, Helen Shinaberry, Rockford, and Thelma (Morrell M.G.) Allen, Ohio City.
Deceased are three brothers, Paul, Waldo and Robert Wiseman; three sisters, Emma Lou Myers and Marcile Edna McDougal.
He retired as a carpenter. He was a member of St. Johns Lutheran Church in Ohio City and was a 1944 graduate of Ohio City-Liberty High School. He was a veteran of World War II, where he served in the U.S. Army. He was a member of the Harvey Lewis 346 of the American Legion in Ohio City.
Funeral services are 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Cowan & Son Funeral Home in Van Wert, the Rev. Denise Brown officiating. Burial is at Woodlawn Cemetery in Ohio City.
Calling is 3-7 p.m. today and 9:30-10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
