Walter Baker
Walter Gene Baker, 78, Rockford, died at 12:30 a.m. Nov. 18, 2010, at his home.
He was born Sept. 22, 1932, in New Corydon, Ind., to Ernest and Inez Miller Baker. His mother survives in Montpelier, Ind.
Also surviving are four sons, Pat (Ellie) Baker, New Corydon, Ind. Steve (Bonnie) Baker, Rockford, Jeff Baker, Rockford, and Jason (Amy) Baker, Delphos; a daughter, Pam Baker, Celina; two sisters, Sharon (Jerry) Boise, Montpelier, Ind. and Nancy Bates, Celina; 10 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
Deceased is a brother, Bob Baker.
He was a graduate of Willshire High School and worked at the former Goodyear plant in St. Marys. He was a member of National Cur & Feist Breeders Association.
Services and burial will be held at Riverside Cemetery in Geneva, Ind., at a later date.
Funeral arrangements are being handled by Cisco Funeral Home in Celina.
