* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Marcella Barhorst
Marcella L. "Sally" Barhorst, 88, formerly of Newport, died Oct. 6, 2010, at Fair Haven County Home in Sidney.
She was born March 25, 1922, in North Star to Louis and Mary Varno Marchal. On July 21, 1943, she married Richard F. Barhorst, who died Oct. 19, 1999.
Surviving are two sons, Doug (Sara) Barhorst, Sidney, and Richard Barhorst Jr., Newport; a sister, Mary Weiskittel, Sidney; seven grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
Deceased are 10 siblings, Lawrence, Robert, Paul, Hubert, Thomas, Anthony, Louis and Joseph Marchal, Ovella Foster and Pauline Holscher, and a great-grandson.
She was a member of Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Newport, the Ladies Sodality of the church, Ladies Auxillary of Newport, Wilson Memorial Hospital Auxillary, Fort Loramie Chicken Fryers and helped at the Newport Fruit Market.
Funeral Mass 10:30 a.m. Monday at the church, the Rev. Steven Shoup officiating. Burial is at the church cemetery.
Calling is 1-7 p.m. Sunday and 9-10 a.m. Monday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home in Minster.
