* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Rita Flaute
Rita Flaute, 82, Cassella, died at 6:18 a.m. Sept. 27, 2010, at The Gardens in St. Henry.
She was born June 3, 1928, in Cassella, to Peter and Sophia Speck Ranly. On July 2, 1949, she married Raymond Flaute, who died Dec. 17, 2009.
Surviving are six children, Ruth (Bill) Kuhlman, Ottawa, Marj (Mike) Millennor, Sharonville, Bill (Jane) Flaute, Riverside, Teresa (Ken) Gerlach, Carthagena, Tom (Pat) Flaute, Minster, and Ann (Mike) Hemmelgarn, Carthagena; a son-in-law, Ken Prenger, Chickasaw; a daughter-in-law, Carol (Paul) Fleck, St. Sebastian; six siblings, Paul (Marie) Ranly, Minster, Lucille Droesch, Chickasaw, Orville (Alma) Ranly, Philothea, the Rev. Ernest Ranly C.PP.S., Carthagena, Ella Mae (Ralph) Liette, Chickasaw, and Donald (Joan) Ranly, Columbia, Mo.; four sisters-in-law, Rosemary Obringer, Coldwater, Eileen Ranly, Cassella, Betty Flaute, Rhine, and Bob (Mary Ann) Hoying, Fort Loramie; 29 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Also deceased are three sons, David, Steve and Gabriel Flaute; a daughter, Joan Prenger; nine siblings, Alvina Klosterman, the Rev. Victor Ranly, Norbert Ranly, Hilda Obringer, Sr. Teresa Joseph Ranly, Walter Ranly, Arthur Ranly, Mary Ranly and Joseph Ranly; and three grandchildren.
She was a member of The Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church in Cassella. She worked as a teacher's aide at Marion Local Schools. She was also a member of the church choir, the Cassella Ladies Sodality, Catholic Knights in Cassella, volunteer at the Maria Stein Pilgrim Gift Shop, a 4-H advisor, a member of the Adoration Guild and volunteer at Heritage Museum in Celina.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Friday at the church, the Rev. Gene Schnipke officiating. Burial is at the church cemetery.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Thursday and 9-10 a.m. Friday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home in St. Henry.
Memorials can be made to the State of the Heart Hospice, Coldwater.
