* WHERE...Portions of Indiana, including the following counties, Dearborn, Fayette, Franklin, Ripley, Union and Wayne and Ohio, including the following counties, Adams, Auglaize, Brown, Butler, Champaign, Clark, Clermont, Clinton, Darke, Delaware, Fairfield, Fayette, Franklin, Greene, Hamilton, Hardin, Highland, Hocking, Licking, Logan, Madison, Mercer, Miami, Montgomery, Pickaway, Pike, Preble, Ross, Scioto, Shelby, Union and Warren.
* WHEN...From 7 PM EDT this evening through Monday morning.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Showers and thunderstorms producing heavy rain will impact the area overnight. Rainfall totals of 1 to 3 inches are expected with locally higher amounts. The heavy rain combined with saturated ground will lead to potential flash flooding.

* IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, State Route 117 near Route 118 north of Rockford is water-covered and closed.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Gertrude Laux
Gertrude Mary Laux, 89, Rockford, died at 1:45 a.m. Sept. 8, 2010, at Van Wert County Hospital in Van Wert.
She was born on Feb. 3, 1921, in Fordyce, Neb., to Zeno and Mathilda Schmidt Suing. On July 29, 1944, she married John Lamont Laux, who died Aug. 12, 2003.
Surviving are five sons, Ferdinand (Linda) Laux, Anchorage, Alaska, Duane (Lindy) Laux, McComb, Richard Laux, Mendon, Daniel Laux, Rockford, and Charles (Becky) Laux, Elizabethtown, Ky.; two daughters, Arillia Ann Gilbreath, Rockford, and Anna Marie (Don) McClain, Fort Wayne, Ind.; three brothers, Jerome, John and Daniel Suing; four sisters, Lorine Miller, Catherine Kock, Mathilda Suing and Clara Yeaton; 22 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
Also deceased are a brother, James Suing; and four sisters, Mary Ann Smith, Helen Suing, Elizabeth Suing and Magdalen Cisney.
She was a homemaker and a member of the St. Teresa Catholic Church in Rockford. She was also a member of the church's ladies sodality.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Monday at the church, the Rev. Ken Alt officiating. Burial is at Riverside Cemetery in Rockford.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Sunday at Ketcham-Ripley Funeral Home, Rockford, where a rosary service will be held at 7:30 p.m.
