* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Showers and thunderstorms producing heavy rain will impact the area overnight. Rainfall totals of 1 to 3 inches are expected with locally higher amounts. The heavy rain combined with saturated ground will lead to potential flash flooding.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Willis Martin
Mercer County native Willis L. Martin, 81, Bryant, Ind., died at 10 a.m. Aug. 11, 2010, at Adams Memorial Hospital in Decatur, Ind.
He was born April 8, 1929, in Mercer County, to William and Lela Stolz Martin. On July 1, 1950, he married Alethea Bollenbacher, who survives.
Also surviving five sons, Alan (Abbey) Martin, Decatur, Doyle Martin, Bryant, Robert (Beth) Martin, Decatur, Dwight (Jane) Martin, Bryant, and Bradley (Jill) Martin, Bryant; 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Deceased is a son, Randall Martin; and a brother, Donald Martin.
He was a 1946 graduate of Celina High School and attended IBC-Fort Wayne where he earned an associate degree in accounting. He worked on a grain and dairy farm. He was on the Jay County REMC Board and the Jefferson Township Advisory Board. He also worked with Habitat for Humanity. He was a member of the Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church in Portland, Ind., and was on the church council.
Funeral services are 2 p.m. Sunday at the church, the Rev. Mark Strietelmeier officiating. Burial is at Riverside Cemetery in Geneva, Ind.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Saturday at Downing & Glancy Funeral Home in Geneva, Ind., and 1-2 p.m. Sunday at the church.
Memorials can be made to the American Cancer Society or the church.
